Land Surveyor
Location: Braintree (commutable from Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Southend)
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Land Surveyor to deliver high-quality topographical and measured surveys across a wide range of projects.
This role is ideal for a Land Surveyor looking to work with advanced surveying technology on diverse projects in construction, infrastructure, and development. You’ll play a key role in capturing accurate survey data, producing detailed drawings, and ensuring deliverables meet client and industry standards. Flexible working is offered, with time split between site and office (or home-based data processing).

The Role:
* Carrying out detailed topographic and measured building surveys
* Producing accurate floor plans, elevations and sections
* Using total stations and 3D laser scanners to capture precise data
* Liaising with project teams to ensure quality and specification standards are met
What We’re Looking For:
* A minimum of 1 years’ experience in land surveying
* Familiarity with Leica and/or Trimble equipment and software such as AutoCAD and LSS/N4ce
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
* Full UK driving licence
