Job Description
Our client is looking for a practical, motivated Landscape Officer to help maintain safe, clean, and attractive estates across the district. This is a hands-on outdoor role working with a range of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality environmental and landscaping work. A driving licence is essential.
Key Duties
* Tree maintenance, hedge pruning, grass cutting, shrub work and leaf clearance
* Garden clearances, including removal of old sheds and other structures
* Supporting emergency response during adverse weather, including gritting, sandbagging, etc.
* Operating tools, machinery and mini diggers for soft and hard landscaping
* Working with estate teams and on improvement projects
What You Need
* Mechanical Plant Certificate (e.g., mini digger/JCB)
* Experience using powered tools (strimmers, hedge cutters, chainsaws)
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Awareness of health & safety
* Flexible approach and teamwork
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours/standby shifts
