Responsibilities
The Landscaper will play a vital role in delivering ecological and landscaping projects that support nature recovery. Key responsibilities include:
Habitat Creation & Restoration: Establish and maintain habitats such as wildflower meadows, wetlands, and woodlands through planting, seeding, and translocation of native species.
Invasive Species Control: Identify and remove invasive species using appropriate methods to promote native biodiversity.
Land Management & Ecological Enhancements: Implement sustainable practices, construct habitat features (e.g., ponds, wildlife corridors), and support carbon capture initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in landscaping, habitat restoration, or ecological projects.
Knowledge of native plant species, invasive species control, and sustainable land management practices.
Proficiency in operating landscaping tools and machinery (e.g., strimmers, chainsaws).
Day-to-Day
On a typical day, the Landscaper will:
Prepare and manage sites for habitat restoration projects.
