Job Description
Laser Machine Programmer/Operator
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum + Overtime Opportunities at 1.5x
Hours: Monday to Friday, days only
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Laser Machine Programmer/Operator to join our clients dynamic production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and operating laser cutting machine using Bysoft software, ensuring high-quality output and supporting broader fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Programme and operate laser cutting machinery and other production equipment
* Interpret and work from technical drawings
* Inspect and measure finished components to ensure compliance with specifications
* Produce quality components
* Follow all safety protocols and ISO9001 quality standards
* Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity and workflow
* Lift and handle raw materials manually or with forklift assistance
* Operate additional fabrication machinery and support colleagues as needed
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in laser machine operation and programming (Bysoft preferred)
* Strong understanding of programming principles
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
* Fabrication experience is highly desirable
