We currently have a requirement for an experienced laser setter/operator to join a growing manufacturing company in the Telford area. This role is working a static night shift.
Laser setter/operator duties:
· Prepare and operate CNC laser machines for cutting metal components.
· Interpret technical drawings and production instructions.
· Oversee laser operations to maintain accuracy and output standards.
· Perform basic maintenance on the machine.
· Communicate with other departments to ensure production requirements are met.
Requirements of a laser setter/operator:
· Experience setting and running CNC laser machines such as Amada and Trumpf (other types of machines will be also be considered).
· Strong knowledge of materials including aluminium, steel and titanium.
· Confidence in reading technical drawings.
· Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of production.
Pay:
£15.00 - £16.50 per hour
Hours of work:
Monday – Wednesday 16:30pm - 3:00am, Friday 16:30pm - 2:00am
