Teacher of Latin - KS2-KS3 - Part-time contract - January to July 2026 - (From £175 - £269 per day)
Are you passionate about bringing Latin to life for young learners?
We're looking for an inspiring Latin Teacher to join a leading independent prep school in Hertfordshire, located on the border of South Watford and North London with excellent transport links.
The school has a strong academic tradition and a warm, supportive ethos, making it a fantastic place to teach and inspire young minds.
This is a fixed-term role from January to July 2026, perfect for someone who loves teaching classics and wants a flexible timetable.
2 - 3 days per week (flexibility for the right candidate - even one day a week considered)
Teach Years 3-8 using Minimus Book 1 and the Cambridge Latin Course (Books 1-3)
Small, engaged classes of 12-20 boys who enjoy learning
Optional Ancient Greek session (30 mins/week) with Year 8 - not essential
Paid to scale - London Fringe (£34,397-£52,488 PA, PAYE)
