About the Role:
Deliver engaging and relevant Law lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
Teach key topics such as the English legal system, criminal law, civil law, and legal rights and responsibilities
Use real-life legal cases and current affairs to enhance student understanding and engagement
Assess student progress, provide clear feedback, and support academic development
Contribute to the wider school community through PSHE, assemblies, and enrichment activities (e.g. debate club, mock trials)
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Have experience teaching Law at secondary or post-16 level (A-Level/BTEC Law)
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to make complex legal topics accessible and engaging
Inspire students to think analytically and ethically about the world around them
Possess excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and ongoing professional development
