A leading UK-based drug discovery organisation is seeking a talented LC-MS Specialist to join its analytical chemistry team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative small molecule discovery programmes within a highly collaborative research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain open-access LC-MS systems
• Purify and analyse chiral and achiral compounds
• Generate high-quality physchem data to support project decisions
• Contribute to cross-functional discovery teams (Chemistry & DMPK)
Requirements:
• Degree in Chemistry or related discipline
• 3+ years’ hands-on HPLC/LC-MS experience in a drug discovery setting
• Strong background in chiral separations and analytical techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
• Experience with Shimadzu or Agilent systems
• Exposure to SFC, HRMS, or in vitro ADME assays
