Job Description

LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years’ experience, for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.
 
 Must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.

Location: Glasgow
 Pay / salary: Up to £40,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime DOE & Qualifications
 Job type: Permanent / full-time role
 Shift and schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, Saturdays on a rota

 Skills and experience

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent; alternatively, Level 2 Technician/Mechanic qualification with at least 3 years’ experience 
Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties 
Job Responsibilities for the LCV Technician role

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and warranty work at customer or fleet sites.
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults independently using diagnostic equipment.
Complete digital vehicle health checks and report on mechanical defects.
Manage your daily travel itinerary, arrival times, and van parts inventory.
Complete digital service sheets, customer defect logs, and job cards accurately.
