Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our growing Dealer Group Client for a LCV Technician / Van Technician based in the Fareham, Hampshire area.
Benefits:
Competitive starting rate from £15.00 p/h + £2.20 shift allowance (£17.20 effective).
Clear pathway to progress into HGV Technician level, with pay rising to £21.32 p/h + £2.20 shift allowance (£23.50 effective) as you upskill.
Shift options to suit you: either permanent lates
Work with a highly skilled team in modern, well-equipped facilities.
Ongoing training through both manufacturer programmes and in-house academy sessions.Responsibilities:
General Servicing
Repair of Vehicle Defects
Support the HGV Technicians by taking on van work to free up their capacity.
MOT preparation and repair work
Vehicle Inspection
Completion of associated paperwork
DiagnosticsRequirements:
Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a LCV Technician / Van Technician
Working experience within a busy LCV Workshop
A strong attention to detail – executing all repairs strongly.
Have an up-to-date knowledge of current repair methods
Driving Licence is Essential.The salary of this Van Technician position is £48,900 basic with OTE of £55,000.
