LCV Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic - Caerphilly Area
Location: Caerphilly and surrounding areas
Salary: £38,(Apply online only) - £45,(Apply online only)
Hours: Alternate shifts - 6am to 2pm / 13:30pm to 10pm
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Join a busy, modern commercial vehicle workshop near Caerphilly as an experienced LCV Technician. You'll work a rotating shift pattern with excellent overtime rates for Saturdays. This role offers ongoing training and progression working on a wide range of light commercial vehicles including the latest electric models.

Responsibilities of LVC Technician:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on light commercial vehicles
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to high standards
Use computer-aided diagnostic tools (training available if required)
Follow health and safety standards and workshop procedures
Communicate clearly and work effectively with the team
Skills and qualifications
Essential
Experience working as an LCV Technician or Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
Good knowledge of LCV repairs and servicing
Attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
Willingness to learn and train on latest technologies including electric vehicles
Desirable
Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. IMI, City & Guilds)
Experience working in main dealer or commercial fleet environments
