Lead Dental Nurse – Salisbury, Wiltshire – Full Time

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Salisbury, Wiltshire to recruit a Lead Dental Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

Position Details

  * Available to start as soon as possible.

  * Notice periods will be taken into consideration.

  * Full-time opportunity – 40 hours per week.

  * Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

  * Competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on experience.

  * Mixed practice environment.

Role Responsibilities

The successful Lead Dental Nurse will be responsible for:

  * Chairside assistance and patient care.

  * Infection prevention and control procedures.

  * Instrument decontamination and surgery preparation.

  * Maintaining equipment and clinical standards.

  * Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of Dental Nurses.

  * Overseeing reception duties and staff rotas.

  * Ensuring CQC compliance and managing audits.

  * Stock control and ordering.

  * Supporting the Practice Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

  * Providing occasional reception cover when required.

About the Practice

The practice provides a range of treatments including:

  * General Dentistry

  * Restorative Dentistry

  * Cosmetic Dentistry

  * Orthodontics

Candidate Requirements

  * Minimum 2 years’ Dental Nursing experience required.

  * Previous leadership or senior nursing experience preferred.

  * GDC registered.

  * Valid DBS certificate.

  * Dentally software experience preferred.
