Are you an experienced Design Engineer with strong project leadership skills, seeking a unique opportunity within a CAA-approved organisation responsible for maintaining the continued flight capability of the UK's last remaining warbird fleet?
On offer is the chance to join a growing business with an expanding Design team. You will work on a variety of multidisciplinary projects across Aero-Structures, Aero-Engines, and Systems from the golden age of flight through to the Second World War, including iconic aircraft such as the Lancaster, Spitfire, and Hurricane.
This is a rare opportunity to combine advanced engineering with the preservation of aviation history, supported by training, technical progression, and a highly dedicated team.
The Role
Project Leading within a busy CAA Approved Design Organisation
Developing complete and approved design solutions
Compliance verification of design artefacts
CAD modelling through to detailed drawing generation
Liaison with customers, subcontractors, and internal staff
The Person
Degree educated (or equivalent) in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
Significant experience as a Design Engineer in a project lead role
Knowledge of Civil & Military Aviation regulations (advantageous)
