Job Description
Our client is seeking a Permanent Lead Driller to join their team based in Nottingham, focusing on Site & Ground Investigation projects. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of these projects, working closely with the nominated Project Manager. As a predominantly site-based position, you will be responsible for the collection and collation of site information necessary for reporting purposes. Furthermore, you will assist in delivering safety-critical duties on railway infrastructure while ensuring the safety and compliance standards are upheld at all times.
Experience in a similar role is essential.
Flexible working hours, including the possibility of night shifts and weekends.
Ability to stay away from home when required.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
CSCS Certification
NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling.
Hold relevant non-rail competencies as needed for SI/GI work (training provided).
Possession of a Rail Sentinel Card (training provided).
Safety critical competencies such as PTS, PO, LXA, LEA, HSM, IWA, PAM, COSS (training provided).
