Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Lead Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
We are looking for an Lead Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Lead Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Manage engineering contracts with a strong focus on electrical maintenance and compliance
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and company policies – always audit ready
* Oversee planned and reactive electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery
* Utilise CAFM systems and digital tools to schedule tasks, track performance, and generate reports
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and professional relationships
* Lead and support on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure service excellence
* Take a hands-on approach – support with holiday cover and assist with office moves when needed
* Produce and deliver monthly reports, financial forecasts, and contract performance reviews
To be successful for this Lead Electrical Engineer role you must have:
* Proven experience as a Contract Manager with a strong electrical bias
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering) highly desirable
* Proficient in CAFM systems (e.g., Concept, Planon, Maximo) and other FM tech tools
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Based in or able to travel to Loughborough on a daily basis
