Lead Electrician – Commercial Solar PV

Location: Site Based – UK Travel
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + Van + Staying Away Package
Position: Full Time

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.

Responsibilities

  * Lead electrical installation teams on Commercial Solar PV projects

  * Oversee containment, cabling, termination, testing and commissioning

  * Coordinate with mechanical installation teams

  * Carry out quality checks and resolve installation issues

  * Manage daily workload and site resources

  * Mentor electricians and support engineers

  * Maintain high H&S and workmanship standards

Requirements

  * Strong Commercial Solar PV installation experience

  * Previous experience leading electrical teams

  * NVQ Level 3

  * AM2

  * ECS Gold Card

  * 18th Edition

  * 2391 or equivalent

  * Full UK Driving Licence

  * Happy to travel and stay away nationwide

Solar PV and EV qualifications advantageous
