Job Title: Lead Engineer (Single Site Engineer)

Location: Pimlico, SW1V

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

Salary: £50,000

About the Role:

I am seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join my clients team, to be based at a high end residential site in Pimlico. In this role, you will be the sole site engineer overseeing maintenance tasks across this large building. You will spend a mixture of your day in performing hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks on M&E & building systems, and escorting contractors where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Perform your delegated PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

  * Managing contractors and supporting client requests

  * Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.

  * Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.

  * Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

  * Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.

Requirements:

  * Proven experience in a similar M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) maintenance supervisory or leadership role.

  * City & Guilds /NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical discipline

  * Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and M&E systems.

  * Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
