Lead Fire Alarm Engineer Full-time, Permanent About the Role We're looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer ready to step into a senior, blended role combining hands-on commissioning with leadership. What You'll Be Doing As Lead Fire Alarm Engineer, you'll balance time on the tools (commissioning and testing complex fire alarm systems) with leadership and mentoring responsibilities. Key responsibilities include: Commissioning and verifying advanced fire alarm systems Acting as the technical authority for projects and escalations Auditing site works to ensure compliance with BS5839 standards and best practice Mentoring and training engineers, helping them develop their technical skills Providing technical support across projects and liaising with clients Representing the business at a senior engineering level What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll bring: Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer with a strong commissioning background FIA qualifications (Units 1-4 desirable) or equivalent industry certifications Excellent knowledge of fire safety regulations and BS5839 standards Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills Natural leadership ability, with experience mentoring or supporting others Clear communication and confidence in client-facing situations Why Join Them?
