Job Description

SDR – SAP / ERP

£45k Basic + £10k OTE – Uncapped | UK

This is a unique opportunity to become the first in-house SDR for a leading SAP partner and play a key role in building their outbound sales function from the ground up.

The business has historically used an external agency for SDR activity but has now decided to bring this function in-house. As the first SDR hire, you won't simply be joining an established team — you'll be helping to build it.

Over the next 12–18 months, the plan is to build a wider SDR team around you, giving the successful candidate a genuine opportunity to progress into a Senior SDR / SDR Team Lead / Manager position.

About the Company

Our client is a leading SAP Partner, with around 80 employees in the UK and group turnover of approximately £1 billion.

The business is PE-backed and has ambitious growth plans, targeting approximately £2 billion by 2030.

I've personally worked with this client for over 10 years, so this is a business I know extremely well and one I’m excited to be representing.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

  * Outbound prospecting into new target accounts

  * Generating qualified meetings and opportunities

  * Engaging senior decision-makers

  * Using LinkedIn, email and telephone to create new conversations

  * Working closely with the sales team to develop pipeline

  * Helping build the SDR strategy, processes and playbook

  * Establishing KPIs and improving outbound performance

  * Helping recruit and build the SDR team as the function grows

What We're Looking For

3+ years' experience as an SDR/BDR selling ERP is essential.

You'll need a proven track record in outbound sales, strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the ambition to eventually lead a team.

This isn't a standard SDR role.

You have the opportunity to be the first SDR, build the function and build a team around you within a £1bn+ SAP organisation with huge growth ambitions.

£45,000 basic + £10,000 OTE – uncapped
