We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role which will support clinical excellence, and help shape the future of our practice.
🧰 What You’ll Be Doing
* 🩺 Eventually Lead the nursing team day-to-day, managing rotas and workflow
* 🐶 Assisting vets in surgery, consultations, and inpatient care
* 🧼 Upholding high standards in hygiene, patient monitoring, and infection control
* 🎓 Mentoring student nurses and supporting junior staff
* 🗂 Ensuring accurate patient records and RCVS compliance
* 🛠 Supporting stock control, equipment checks, and SOP development
* 🤝 Fostering a positive, collaborative team culture
🎓 What We’re Looking For
* RVN status with 3+ years of clinical experience
* Leadership or mentoring experience (desirable)
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* A calm, compassionate approach to patient care
* Comfortable with Exotics
