Our client are a family run FMCG organisation who have been trading for over 30 years and as a company have grown from strength to strength. There are now looking to hire a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Your Role:
As a Lead Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the following.
* Leading and Managing a Team of 2/3 maintenance technicians
* Training and mentoring your team,
* Overseeing and conducting PPM's and Reactive Maintenance
* Attending breakdowns
* Electrical & Mechanical fault finding on PLC's, Motors, Production lines and control panels, conveyors.
* Have the opportunity to get involved on-going site projects & continuous improvement
* Getting involved with H&S protocols and making changes where required
Candidate Requirements:
* Apprenticeship qualified, equivalent or qualified by experience
* Proven track record working as a Senior / Lead Engineer in a manufacturing Environment
* Proven track record with high speed processing machinery
* Proven track record with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, Electrical Fault finding, Control Panels,
* Flexible and open to working weekends when required
* Electrically Biased (Desirable)
* PLC Fault Finding (Desirable)
* Welding & Fabrication (Desirable)
