We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Lead Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence within a specialist engineering environment. This position involves hands-on design work, technical leadership, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance mechanical solutions for demanding and regulated industries such as nuclear, defence, oil and gas and aerospace.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the design engineering team to achieve excellence in project delivery.
Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components using 3D CAD software (SolidEdge).
Produce detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation for both new and existing products.
Conduct performance evaluations and apply GD&T principles to ensure precision manufacturing.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine specifications and deliver innovative, manufacturable solutions.Benefits
