Job Description
Lead NetSuite Developer
We’re looking for a hands-on NetSuite leader who can set the technical direction, grow our development capability, and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. You’ll be the go-to authority for NetSuite (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SDF) while also shaping how we use CI/CD, testing frameworks, and GitHub to raise the bar on quality and delivery. If you enjoy balancing deep technical problem-solving with mentoring and strategy, this role offers the best of both worlds.
Responsibilities:
* Owning the full development lifecycle of NetSuite customisations and integrations.
* Designing CI/CD pipelines that make deployments faster, safer, and repeatable.
* Embedding automated testing and coding standards to reduce defects and improve maintainability.
* Coaching, guiding, and scaling a team of developers to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
* Leading code reviews, setting standards, and championing knowledge-sharing.
* Working with the CTO to shape development processes and influence the wider tech strategy.
* Partnering with business stakeholders and consultants to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions.
* Keeping an eye on system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring scalability.
* Staying ahead of NetSuite releases and emerging tools to continually evolve our approach.
Requirements:
* Strong track record of delivering enterprise-scale NetSuite projects.
* Mastery of SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SDF.
* Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and automation.
* Experience introducing testing frameworks that improved stability and delivery confidence.
* Leadership experience — from mentoring individuals to building team capability.
* Exposure to REST/SOAP APIs and integrating NetSuite with external systems.
* An Agile mindset, with the ability to adapt delivery to shifting priorities.
* Strong communicator who can engage with both technical and business leaders.
Nice to have:
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
