Lead Passive Fire Protection Surveyor– £36-£50,000 - Passive Fire Protection

We’re seeking an experienced Lead Passive Fire Protection Surveyor to oversee the full survey process, from initial order to final report. This hands‑on role combines surveying with coordination, client engagement, and ensuring high‑quality outputs. If you have strong passive fire protection knowledge

What You'll Do

  * Carry out and oversee fire compartmentation, fire door and passive fire protection surveys

  * Identify defects against regulations and manufacturer standards

  * Coordinate survey schedules, RAMS, equipment and labour

  * Produce high‑quality survey reports and prepare data for pricing

  * Attend site visits and support client relationships

  * Promote additional services and support business development

  * Maintain compliance with H&S, ISO and industry standards

  * Investigate non‑conformances and maintain accurate records

  * Support colleagues and represent the surveying function professionally

What You’ll Bring

Experience in passive fire protection surveying

Hands‑on experience installing fire protection systems (essential)

Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards

Proven experience preparing cost estimates and project pricing

Business development experience, including advertising and tender submissions

Excellent communication and client‑facing skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
