As the Lead Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and efficient execution of critical projects. This permanent staff opportunity invites an experienced engineering professional to spearhead technical activities, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and implement best practices that align with company objectives and project strategies.
In this role, you will lead engineering efforts by liaising with project owners, contractors, vendors, and consultants, while supporting multi-disciplinary teams to deliver industry-leading solutions. Empowering the project management department, you will develop and refine policies and processes, ensure compliance, and drive optimization in project execution, cost, and quality.
Required Skills
Proven leadership in process engineering with a minimum of 4 years in a Lead Process Engineer role.
Deep knowledge of oil & gas industry practices with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Expertise in project execution for complex brownfield projects, including FEED, EPC, and 3rd party coordination.
Strong proficiency in engineering software tools and systems relevant to process engineering.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to evaluate complex technical issues and provide sound recommendations.
Comprehensive understanding of project management systems and compliance requirements.Nice to Have Skills
Experience developing and updating policies and procedures within a Projects Management context.
Familiarity with contracting and procurement activities related to engineering projects.
Exposure to multi-disciplinary collaboration and cross-functional support.
Knowledge of integrity and reliability systems implementation in project phases.Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is essential.
Extensive industry experience totalling 10+ years, with demonstrated leadership in process engineering.Other Requirements
Must be willing and able to work on-site in Qatar as part of a long-term 2026 project.
Proficiency in advanced engineering software tools is mandatory.
