Lead Reactive Specialist Cleaning Technicians 📍 Nationwide roles available 💰 £28,800 – £38,000 per annum 🕐 Full-time, permanent An established specialist cleaning and environmental services provider is seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Reactive Specialist Cleaning Technician to join their expanding operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of their work, and takes pride in leading teams to deliver exceptional results on-site. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of both reactive and planned works, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards. You’ll work closely with other technicians and site teams, taking a hands-on approach while supporting the ongoing growth and reputation of the business. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support teams of technicians and agency operatives during reactive and planned jobs. * Deliver a wide range of specialist cleaning, waste management, and decontamination services. * Respond promptly to urgent and out-of-hours works, including evenings and weekends when required. * Maintain all tools, vehicles, and PPE in excellent working condition, ensuring full compliance with safety procedures. * Use company systems and tablets to accurately record job information, site details, and customer updates. * Assist with the onboarding and mentoring of new technicians, promoting high operational standards across the team. * Represent the company professionally at all times, building strong relationships with clients and site contacts. What We’re Looking For * Full UK manual driving licence (essential). * Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). * Proven experience delivering both reactive and planned works, ideally within a specialist or facilities environment. * Confident leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide others on-site. * Organised, reliable, and able to work calmly under pressure. * Flexibility to take part in on-call and weekend rotas when required. * Additional qualifications such as IPAF or PASMA would be advantageous.
