Lead Consultant – Business Applications (Sage 200 and Intacct)
Location: UK-wide with travel to client sites
Type: Permanent
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Are you a seasoned Sage 200 functional consultant who thrives on delivering tailored solutions to the UK SME market? Do you enjoy leading projects end-to-end, mentoring junior talent, and working in a culture that genuinely values client success?
This is more than just a job — it’s a growth opportunity. You’ll lead Sage 200 implementations and work closely with the Head of Practice to build out the Intacct market. You’ll also be cross-trained in Sage Intacct, positioning yourself at the forefront of financial tech within a fast-growing consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle Sage 200 implementations — from discovery to go-live and post-implementation support
Support pre-sales with demos, proposals, and pricing
Run client workshops to gather and document requirements
Configure Sage systems, handle data migration, and assist with UAT
Own project communications and documentation
Mentor junior consultants and provide escalation support
Stay current with product certifications and trendsEssential Skills & Experience:
5+ years Sage 200 experience, ideally including:
Sicon Manufacturing, WAP, Projects
Sage 50a, CIM50
Draycir / Eureka Add-ons
Strong financial and project management knowledge
Proficient with:
SQL, Office 365, Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs)
Windows OS and Server environments
Proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget
Comfortable working with clients across varied industriesDesirable Extras:
Sage accreditations (e.g. Financials, Commercials, BOM, Report Designer)
Manufacturing industry experience
