Lead Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics & Recovery Manchester Full Time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week Up to £47,000 + 4% shift enhancement + excellent benefits The Opportunity We are working with A leading private healthcare provider, rated Outstanding by the CQC, to appoint a highly skilled Lead Theatre Practitioner with expertise in Anaesthetics & Recovery. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading cancer treatment centres, working alongside world-renowned clinicians and a highly supportive multidisciplinary team. Role Overview As Lead Theatre Practitioner, you will oversee the safe and efficient running of the theatre suite, coordinating activity across a wide range of surgical specialisms. You will provide strong clinical leadership, ensure high standards of perioperative care, and act as a role model within the Anaesthetics & Recovery team. Key Responsibilities * Lead the day-to-day theatre operations, ensuring smooth service delivery. * Provide expert support across anaesthetics and recovery for complex oncology procedures. * Foster a positive, collaborative working environment that supports staff development. * Promote best practice in infection prevention, patient safety, and risk management. * Ensure the highest standard of holistic perioperative care for oncology patients. Candidate Requirements * NMC or HCPC registration. * Significant UK theatre experience in anaesthetics and recovery. * Previous leadership or supervisory experience. * Strong ability to inspire and support a multidisciplinary team.
