Lead Transport Planner
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Location: Dartford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Integral Staff are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for a Lead Transport Planner based in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport professional to join a dynamic logistics team and take ownership of day-to-day planning operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the daily transport planning activities, ensuring efficient routing and scheduling of deliveries and collections.
*
Manage driver allocations and vehicle utilisation to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.
*
Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth operations and high service levels.
*
Monitor transport performance and identify areas for improvement.
*
Maintain compliance with all transport legislation and company policies.
*
Support and mentor junior planners or coordinators where required.
Requirements:
*
Previous experience in a Transport Planner or similar logistics role (essential).
*
Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and route planning.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
Proficient in transport management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
*
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
