About the position As a Learner Recruitment officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting individuals with life-changing learning and employment opportunities. You’ll be at the forefront of learner recruitment, engagement, and progression, helping people overcome barriers and achieve meaningful, sustainable careers. Your key responsibilities will include: * Attracting, engaging, and enrolling learners onto various funded programmes. * Providing tailored Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks. * Building strong relationships with employers, referral partners, and learners to ensure smooth progression into training and employment. * Managing a caseload of learners, setting SMART goals, and supporting them to achieve their objectives. * Organising and attending recruitment events, open days, and networking sessions to promote opportunities and raise the organisation’s profile. * Ensuring compliance and accuracy in all documentation and reporting. Ideal Candidate This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and is passionate about making a measurable difference. We are looking for someone with : * Knowledge of the employability or skills sector. * A CEIAG qualification (minimum Level 2) – or willingness to work towards one. * Experience in learner recruitment, employability coaching, or career advice. * Strong networking and relationship-building abilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery. * A proactive, resilient attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). You’ll also have a strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity principles.
