Learning & Development Coordinator
£30K Basic Salary
London (4 days in the office, with remote work 1 day a week)
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join a global organisation as an L&D Coordinator. Perfect for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in learning and development, HR, or training administration, this role offers the chance to build your career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll be at the heart of planning, coordinating, and delivering engaging learning initiatives, while gaining exposure to a variety of development projects and learning platforms.
On successful completion of a 6-month probation, you’ll have the chance to be enrolled on the Level 3 CIPD L&D Practitioner apprenticeship—providing you with a recognised qualification to accelerate your career in the L&D field.
Responsibilities:
* Schedule and organise in-person and virtual training sessions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers.
* Arrange venues, materials, catering, and technology requirements to ensure smooth event delivery.
* Assist in creating engaging internal communications campaigns to promote learning opportunities.
* Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries related to learning and development.
* Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) and other digital learning tools.
* Upload and manage course content, user permissions, and reporting functions.
* Support the creation, formatting, and upkeep of learning materials.
* Maintain accurate training records and monitor compliance with mandatory learning requirements.
* Track attendance, collect feedback, and generate reports on training effectiveness.
* Provide administrative support for wider talent development projects and initiatives.
Skills:
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with LMS platforms is desirable.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* A collaborative approach and a passion for learning and development.
Qualifications:
* No specific formal qualification is required, but relevant training in HR, L&D, or business administration is advantageous.
Experience:
* 1–2 years’ experience in a learning and development, HR coordination, or training administration role is desirable.
* Experience coordinating both virtual and in-person training events.
* Experience with LMS administration is an advantage.
