We're recruiting a Learning Disabilities Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Maidenhead. As a Learning Disabilities Support Assistant, you will provide personalised support to help students access education, develop social skills, and manage emotional challenges. Many of the children you will support face difficulties stemming from trauma, anxiety, or developmental delays, and your work will be vital in promoting their wellbeing and progress.
Key duties as a Learning Disabilities Support Assistant:
Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning and emotional needs
Support the implementation of mental health and behaviour management strategies
Build trusting relationships that encourage communication and emotional regulation
Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

We are looking for someone who:
