Learning Disability Manager-Mansfield-£34K-Small service Salary: £34,000 per annum Location: Small Residential Home About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Learning Disability Manager to lead our small residential home supporting adults with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and a positive, person-centred environment for residents and staff alike. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home. Ensure residents receive safe, effective, and person-centred care. Recruit, train, and supervise staff to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce. Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and regular reviews in line with best practice. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other statutory requirements. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively. Foster strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies. Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for all residents. Skills & Qualities Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Good organisational and problem-solving skills. Compassionate, patient, and committed to person-centred care. Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and best practice standards. Experience & Qualifications Previous management or deputy management experience within learning disabilities or similar care settings. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards). Demonstrable experience in leading and motivating a team. A good understanding of CQC requirements and compliance. Experience in supporting individuals with complex needs is desirable.
