Who we need We require a full time Learning & Skills Trainer to deliver a high standard of technical training within Light Vehicle to our cohorts of national apprentices: Key duties of the role include: - Plan, prepare, design and deliver high quality teaching learning and assessment in the specialist area of Light Vehicle - Ensure apprentices cover the relevant knowledge, skills, and behaviours of their vocational area, to meet their end point assessment - Create individual learning plans for apprentices and be responsible for providing blended learning opportunities for all on-site and remote apprentices, ensuring any additional learning needs are met - Complete progress reviews with employers and apprentices both remote and at the employer’s sites - Motivate and inspire all apprentices so that they are supported to achieve excellence and are encouraged to achieve their full potential including higher grades. What you’ll bring You will have experience of being a technical trainer or have experience working within the motor vehicle industry. Essential skills and experience include: - Hold a recognised subject related qualification at Level 3 or above or occupational competence in subject area - Hold a Certificate in Education, PGCE or DTLLS or be willing to work towards - Relevant industrial experience and occupational competence - Have experience of successful team working and be committed to a team-based approach - Be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of others and those training especially students with different needs. - Demonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills with excellent timekeeping and attendance For further details on this post which the job description and person specification cannot answer for you, please contact (url removed) Interviews, including a practical task and microteach, are planned for: TBC Why Join us Competitive salary – £33,742 to £42,182 per annum FTE.
