Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School - Kettering
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity
Pay: £85-£95 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a vibrant secondary school in Kettering, known for its strong emphasis on the arts, to recruit a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately, with the potential to continue for the rest of the academic year.
The Role:
You will support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), both in the classroom and through targeted one-to-one or small group sessions. Working closely with teaching staff and the SEN department, you'll help students build confidence, stay engaged in learning, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with EHCPs and other additional needs
Help deliver engaging lessons and adapt resources where necessary
Encourage and promote inclusion within the classroom
Monitor and track progress, reporting back to the SENCo and teachers
Support behaviour management in a positive and respectful way
We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
A calm, patient and empathetic approach to supporting learning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in education and inclusion - a passion for the arts is a bonus!
Knowledge of SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia etc.) is helpful but not essential
