Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time, SEND Support)
Location: Havering, Essex
Salary: £89.38 – £95 per day

We’re looking for a caring and committed SEND Learning Support Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner schools in Havering on a full-time basis.
If you have a calm approach, a positive attitude, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs, this is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact.
Your day-to-day
Support: Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Assist: Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans.
Engage: Help pupils take part in lessons, build confidence, and celebrate progress—no matter how small.
Manage: Use positive behaviour strategies to create a calm, encouraging learning space.
Communicate: Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to ensure consistent support.
Nurture: Promote independence, inclusion, and a sense of belonging in every activity.
You’ll be part of a supportive team where your efforts make a visible difference every day.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
The right to work in the UK
A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Flexibility, reliability, and a team-focused mindset
