Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex Salary: £89.38 – £95 per day ✨ Make a real difference every day We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant to join one of our welcoming schools in Southend-on-Sea. If you’re calm under pressure, passionate about inclusion, and ready to support pupils in reaching their potential, we’d love to hear from you. What you’ll be doing Support: Provide 1:1 assistance to pupils with special educational needs, helping them to engage confidently in lessons. Assist: Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored learning plans and personalised support strategies. Engage: Encourage participation and celebrate progress—big or small. Manage: Respond to challenging behaviour with positivity, empathy, and effective strategies. Communicate: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to track and support each child’s development.
