Learning Support Assistant – Durham  Daily Pay: £90 – £110 Teaching Personnel is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in secondary schools throughout Durham, delivering personalized support to students with additional needs across mainstream classrooms and specialist settings. This role is perfect for individuals considering a career in education, including aspiring educators, psychology graduates, or anyone passionate about helping young people reach their full potential. Main Duties Support students with SEND through 1:1 and small group sessions Assist teachers in modifying and implementing resources to suit individual learners Encourage development in academic achievement, social interaction, and emotional health Work alongside SENCOs and external professionals Educator Specification Experience working with children or young people (in education, care, mentoring, youth work, etc.) Patient, supportive, and friendly approach Capable of following guidance while demonstrating appropriate initiative Strong dedication to supporting students in overcoming learning barriers Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) To apply or find out more, contact:  or call (phone number removed) All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
