Learning Support Assistant - Cambridgeshire Location: Cambridgeshire Employer: Simply Education Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (depending on availability) Simply Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with additional needs to make a real difference in the lives of young people. About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to: Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with additional and complex needs. Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Support students in managing their emotions, behaviour, and learning. Contribute to classroom activities, lesson preparation, and progress monitoring.The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience supporting children with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs in a classroom or specialist setting. Be patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine passion for helping young people succeed. Have strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team. Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, child development, or special educational needs (desirable but not essential).Why Join Simply Education?
