Learning Support Assistant - Education and Training
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our outstanding SEN School in Hornchurch.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of learning difficulties, helping them to reach their full potential in a caring and inclusive environment. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure each child receives the best possible support.
Location: Hornchurch
Position: Full-time, term-time only
Start Date: ASAPResponsibilities - Education and Training
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
Assist the class teacher in creating engaging, inclusive lessons.
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies.
Support the wider school community in fostering an inclusive learning environment.Requirements - Education and Training
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
A genuine interest in working with children with special educational needs.
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
