The Role – Learning Support Assistant
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential academic and social skills.
Working closely with class teachers and the SEN team, you will provide tailored support, implement individual education plans (IEPs), and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will be:

Empathetic, patient, and adaptable

Confident in supporting pupils with SEND or additional learning needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties)

Skilled in promoting engagement, independence, and positive learning behaviour
