The Role
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils across a well-regarded school in the Kettering area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and make meaningful progress in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with varying learning needs.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Support pupils with SEN, behavioural needs, or additional learning requirements.
Implement individual learning plans and contribute to progress tracking.
Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable groups.
A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to different learning needs.
A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind.
