The Role – Learning Support Assistant
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support a primary-aged pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop independence. You will adapt work set by the class teacher, provide emotional and behavioural support where needed, and ensure the pupil remains engaged throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to supporting SEND pupils. Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach are essential for this role.
