Learning Support Assistant
Location: Bexley Campus
Hours: 28 per week
Contract End Date: 03/07/2026
Role Summary:
Our Client is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide essential learning and accessibility support to young people and adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teaching staff and support managers to help learners achieve their educational goals and develop independent learning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the educational and social development of learners.
* Support learners’ access to study programmes and college services.
* Contribute to assessments and person-centred support plans.
* Provide assistance with personal care, safety, and well-being.
* Anticipate barriers to learning and implement strategies to overcome them.
* Ensure specialist equipment and assistive technologies are available and operational.
Requirements:
* A good standard of general education (Level 2 Maths and English or willingness to achieve).
* Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
* Understanding of safeguarding and SEN support needs.
* Ability to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
