Learning Support Assistant - Secondary

Location: Rochdale
Start date: ASAP / After Easter
Contract: Full-time, long-term

TimePlan Education is supporting a welcoming secondary school in the search for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping young people access learning, build confidence and achieve their potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support pupils in class, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
Help students access the curriculum through encouragement and tailored support.
Work closely with teaching staff to support progress and engagement.
Assist with classroom routines, interventions and behaviour support where needed.The ideal candidate will:

Have experience supporting young people in a secondary school setting.
Be patient, proactive and committed to helping pupils succeed.
