Support a Child with Autism in an Outstanding SEN Environment
A respected Special Needs school in South London is seeking a committed and experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism. About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Work closely with the class teacher across all curriculum areas.
Contribute to creative and engaging lesson activities.
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with Autism, focusing on communication, engagement, and social development.
Help the student overcome learning barriers through consistency, rapport-building, and tailored support strategies.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has the right to work in the UK.
Holds a clear, up‑to‑date DBS (or is willing to do one through us)
Has proven experience supporting children with Autism and/or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.
Is reliable, committed, and available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive.
