SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Autism & ADHD 1:1

Job Role: SEN 1:1 LSA
 Location: Hemel Hempstead
 Daily Rate: £85.50 – £120
 Contract: Full time
 Start: ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism and ADHD in a welcoming school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time role, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism and ADHD
Support learning activities in line with the teacher’s direction
Help manage behaviour in a positive, calm, and consistent manner
Encourage social, emotional, and academic development
Adapt support to meet the individual needs of the pupil
Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to support progress
What we’re looking for:

Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism and/or ADHD (preferred but not essential)
A patient, caring, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
