Learning Support Assistant - Hackney, East London
 
 Secondary Schools across Hackey, East London are working with Prospero Teaching to bring in new cohorts of Learning Support Assistants for September 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

 Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils Year 7-11
Assist the class teacher in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
Support children with additional needs, including those with EHCPs.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals.

 A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach.
 Strong communication and teamwork skills.
 A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
