About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide tailored support within the classroom environment. Your role will involve assisting students with special educational needs, promoting inclusive learning, and helping to create a positive and engaging atmosphere for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting individual and group activities to enhance learning outcomes
Assisting students with SEN, disabilities, or additional learning needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering independence
Collaborating with teaching staff to plan and deliver effective support
Monitoring and recording student progress and well-being
The Ideal Candidate:
Passionate about education and student development
Patient, empathetic, and proactive
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible and adaptable to different student needs
