Your role as a Learning Support Assistant: Support the class teacher with preparing, organising, and clearing away lesson resources Work closely with pupils during classroom activities, especially practical tasks Deliver highly nurturing and therapeutic support for students with needs including: Autism Spectrum Condition, Communication and sensory difficulties, Specific and moderate learning difficulties, Social, emotional and mental health needs Help pupils develop core skills in communication, reading, and personal development Teach within small groups and provide individualised attention to meet each student's needs Work collaboratively with subject specialist teachers and SEN professionals Use approaches such as Makaton, Communication in Print, Attention Autism, and TEACCH What We Offer: A supportive and welcoming school environment Full training to develop your knowledge of academic support, as well as social, emotional, and mental health needs Daily pay ranging from £82.10 to £104.16, depending on experience.
